4070-BOX: Exhaust Damper in Sidewall Fitting

Cut SheetApplication Diagram

Description

the Young Regulator Model 4070-Box is a round damper built into a sidewall fitting.  It is used for controlled exhaust.  It opens and closes by the room light switch, and occupancy sensor, or other control.  the 4070 features a strong anti-backlash motor with           No Time Delay.

Unlike traditional constant volume exhaust systems, the quantity of air being exhausted from the building is dynamic, determined by the number of automatic dampers that are open.  The 4100-Box operates only when switched on.  When it is not being used, there is minimal air being pulled from that space.

For relief,a bypass loop or outdoor air can be installed.  Optionally a variable speed motor controlled by a pressure sensor can be used
